There is nothing quite like receiving a surprise gift in the mail. Here at BOXFOX, shipping is a huge part of what we do and we are committed to offering the best price we can to ensure your specially curated gift arrives to its recipient in a safe and timely manner.

We started BOXFOX to make gifting simple, in addition to keeping it pretty & personal. We know you'll love what we do so much that we want to give everyone the chance to send their first box, without giving shipping a second thought (or a dollar). Whether it's for someone's birthday or Big Day, we hope your first BOXFOX says everything you want it to and more.

How it works:

Free standard shipping applies to domestic orders over $100 per shipping address. That means if you're placing a huge multiple address order, free shipping only applies on a per address basis.

THE FINE PRINT: Our free shipping code does not apply to international orders  and cannot be combined (stacked) with any other offers. 

DOES BOXFOX SHIP AS SHOWN?

Yes. Each set of products comes in a beautiful nude or sleek black box, tied with a black grosgrain bow. Our boxes are meant to be kept: they're the perfect place for trinkets, keepsakes and everything in between. Plus, each box will ship inside a shipper box so it stays nice and pretty. 

MY BOX IS A GIFT. I DON'T WANT A RECEIPT OR ANY PRICES.

We never include receipts or inventory / packing slips inside any of our boxes, knowing that they are almost always a gift. In terms of prices, we don't alter any of our products by removing tags or crossing out labels - we want to keep the packaging beautiful and intact - but many of our products don't have price tags in the first place, and when they do, they are small and subtle. 

IS SHIPPING INCLUDED?

While we're always striving to keep shipping costs low, per-box shipping is an additional cost, except on boxes over $100.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

Orders take 3-5 business days to arrive via standard shipping, depending on where it's going. If you're in a pinch (and needed your gift, like, yesterday), email orders@shopBOXFOX.com, and we'll see what we can do. 

If you select one of our expedited shipping options, we will fulfill orders placed before 12n PST the same business day, otherwise they will be fulfilled the next business day. If you selected international shipping, the box will ship either via Standard or Express, depending on which option you opted for. 

Our warehouse ships Monday - Friday, 9a - 5p PST and is closed Saturdays and Sundays.

WHAT IF I NEED IT THERE ON A SPECIFIC DAY?

If you'd like to make someone's day especially special, email orders@shopBOXFOX.com with your order number and the date you'd like it to arrive on, and we'll see what we can do!

 

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All sales are final (but trust us, they'll love it). We don't accept returns or exchanges.

I DON'T NEED IT DELIVERED ON A SPECIFIC DAY, JUST BY A SPECIFIC DAY. WHAT THEN?

If that's the case, let us know in the notes what the occasion is (birthday, anniversary, etc.) and we'll add our custom-designed "DON'T OPEN UNTIL ____" sticker to the front of their package. 

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We ship anywhere in the United States (yes you, Hawaii and Alaska!) as well as select countries, including: Canada, the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Australia. 

If you don't see your country listed, we can ship international on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee, so email hello@shopBOXFOX.com if you need help and we'll see what we can do! Note that our free shipping code only applies to domestic orders (not including Postmates).  

HOW DOES INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING WORK?

MY BOX SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT MY RECIPIENT NEVER GOT IT. 

Have them take a good look in and around their backyard/front yard/lobby/etc. -- there's a good chance it's hiding somewhere (trust us, it happens all the time). If a box is delivered according to your tracking but the recipient didn't get it, our customer care team will do everything our power to locate it by calling the carrier and even the intended delivery building to give you all the information you need. Beyond that, unfortunately this is a rare situation that's out of our control, and could be attributable to any number of things, including the package being stolen or lost. We recommend filing a carrier claim, and we'd be happy to do the same on our end! 

IT SAYS THE DELIVERY OF MY BOXFOX WAS UNSUCCESSFUL, NOW WHAT?

We're here to help call carriers, companies and track down packages, but there is only so much we can do. If the delivery was unsuccessful due to customer error, most often an incorrectly inputted address, we're happy to send a replacement, but do charge an $11 shipping fee. 

DO YOU OFFER A PICK-UP OPTION FOR LA LOCALS?

We've temporarily halted our pick-up option as we expand in our new workspace. 

I JUST RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION BUT I REQUESTED MY BOX BE HELD FOR A LATER DATE. HELP! 

Our system automatically sends out shipping confirmations with tracking numbers when your order is prepped. Do not be alarmed, we're still holding it in our warehouse.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH YOUR POSTMATES ON DEMAND DELIVERY?

Unfortunately, Postmates discontinued its courier partnership with retailers! We're looking into other on-demand solutions and will hopefully have one in early 2019.

    DO YOU HAVE ANY BOXES FOR GUYS?

    Yes! We've got some amazing male-oriented prepacked boxes and a ton of product on BUILD A BOXFOX your man-friends will be stoked on. Plus, we have a black box option for a perfectly sleek (and gender-neutral) gift.

    WHAT’S INSIDE EACH BOXFOX?

    No surprises here. Because we take great care in curating each BOXFOX, and you BUILD your boxes to perfection, we ship exactly what you see on each product page. On the rare occasion that we are out of stock on a particular item, one of our gifting specialists will personally contact you with options of equal or greater value (and aesthetic). 

    DO THE BOXES COME WITH A NOTE?

    Each BOXFOX includes a hand-written, custom-designed note. You simply provide us with your message and we'll handle the rest. 

    DO THE BOXES EVER CHANGE?

    Why yes Margot, they do. We’re constantly innovating and updating our product portfolio to refresh existing boxes, and we're always coming up with new box ideas. 

    CAN I CUSTOMIZE A BOX?

    We have 3 box sizes:

    MINI (black & nude) // 6.5" x 5.5" x 4" 
    STANDARD (black & nude) // 8" x 10" x 4" 
    LARGE (nude) // 15" x 11" x6" 

    I HAVE MULTIPLE DISCOUNT CODES, WHY AREN'T THEY WORKING?

    Unfortunately, you'll have to pick one. None of our codes are stackable.
