Due to increased demand and the fact that our team must work safely with a skeleton crew, we're doing things a little differently this year (and hopefully this year only!). All Mother's Day orders made until Wednesday April 29th at 11:59p PST are guaranteed to deliver by Mother's Day. Any orders placed Thursday April 30th onward will ship on a first come, first served basis on our (hopefully just in COVID and not forever) delayed shipment time of 5-8 business days.

We have our handy dandy “HOLD FOR MOTHER'S DAY" button at checkout, which means your order, whether it is a ready to ship curation or a custom Build a BOXFOX, is flagged as a Mother's Day order in our system and will be processed as such. If you do not select this button, your order will not be guaranteed to arrive by Mother’s Day. Additionally, any order placed April 30th and onward will ship on a first come, first served basis (hopefully just in COVID and not forever) delayed shipment time of 5-8 business days.
When you arrive at the cart page, select “HOLD FOR MOTHER’S DAY" on any line items in your order you want to arrive closer to Mother's Day. All "HOLD" marked items will ship to arrive the week prior to Mother's Day with a sticker on the shipper that says, "do not open until Mother's Day”.
Unfortunately, because Mother’s Day falls on a Sunday, carriers do not operate that day. Additionally, due to increased demand, we can only guarantee arrival prior to Mother’s Day, not on a specific day. We think they'll still love it just as much though.
Unfortunately, because of COVID, we are operating safely with a much smaller skeleton crew. Because of that, any order placed after our cutoff for guaranteed delivery (11:59p PST on Wed April 29th) will ship on a first come, first serve basis with our new shipping window of 5-8 business days and can NOT be guaranteed to deliver by Mother's Day. We're working as hard as possible to ensure your loved ones receive their gifts in a timely manner and we're sure they'll still love it, even if it's a little late this year.

While our team will do everything to process your order in a timely manner, sometimes it will be subject to unforeseen delays in transit. Once it's in the hand of our carriers, it's unfortunately out of our control. We cannot apologize enough for this (we would truly deliver each and every package ourselves if we could!), but unfortunately, we are not liable for these delays. We think, even late, the recipient will truly love the gesture.

All gift boxes purchased on BOXFOX via PREPACKED or Build a BOXFOX are shipped in luxe packaging, topped with a handwritten note with no pricing included.
All individual items purchased through the Marketplace will ship with packing slips, and no handwritten note.
The Marketplace is a shop and therefore the products come in standard ecom packaging with a packing slip. If you're looking for gifts, all items purchased via Build a BOXFOX or our Ready to Ship collection come in luxe packaging, topped with your note, handwritten.

How it works:
Free standard shipping applies to domestic orders over $100 per shipping address. That means if you're placing a huge multiple address order, free shipping only applies on a per address basis.
If you simply activate your account, aka sign up for THE FOX FLEET, it changes to free shipping on orders over $75 per address.
THE FINE PRINT: Our free shipping code does not apply to international orders and cannot be combined (stacked) with any other offers.

We never include receipts or inventory / packing slips inside any of our boxes, knowing that they are almost always a gift. In terms of prices, we don't alter any of our products by removing tags or crossing out labels - we want to keep the packaging beautiful and intact - but many of our products don't have price tags in the first place, and when they do, they are small and subtle.
While we're always striving to keep shipping costs low, per-box shipping is an additional cost, except on boxes over $100 (per address).
Orders take 2-6 business days to arrive via standard shipping, depending on where it's going. During this time, our processing window can be up to 3 days.
**due to the overflow of volume with our carriers due to COVID-19, standard shipping can take up to 8 business days and unfortunately, it is out of our hands.
If you select one of our expedited shipping options, we will fulfill orders placed before 12n PST the same business day, otherwise they will be fulfilled the next business day. If you selected international shipping, the box will ship either via Standard or Express, depending on which option you opted for.
Our warehouse ships Monday - Friday, 9a - 5p PST and is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
All sales are final (but trust us, they'll love it). We don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations.
If that's the case, let us know in the notes what the occasion is (birthday, anniversary, etc.) and we'll add our custom-designed "DON'T OPEN UNTIL ____" sticker to the front of their package.
We're here to help call carriers, companies and track down packages, but there is only so much we can do. If the delivery was unsuccessful due to customer error, most often an incorrectly inputted address, we're happy to send a replacement, but do charge an $11 shipping fee.
We ship anywhere in the United States (yes you, Hawaii and Alaska!) as well as APO and FPO military addresses and all US territories.
Unfortunately, we have suspended international shipping for the remainder of 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Have them take a good look in and around their backyard/front yard/lobby/etc. -- there's a good chance it's hiding somewhere (trust us, it happens all the time). If a box is delivered according to your tracking but the recipient didn't get it, our customer care team will do everything our power to locate it by calling the carrier and even the intended delivery building to give you all the information you need. Beyond that, unfortunately this is a rare situation that's out of our control, and could be attributable to any number of things, including the package being stolen or lost. We recommend filing a carrier claim, and we'd be happy to do the same on our end!
We've temporarily halted our pick-up option as we expand in our new workspace.
Our system automatically sends out shipping confirmations with tracking numbers when your order is prepped. Do not be alarmed, we're still holding it in our warehouse.
Unfortunately, Postmates discontinued its courier partnership with retailers! We're looking into other on-demand solutions and will hopefully have one in 2019.

The FOX FLEET is our free U.S. loyalty program that rewards you based on how much you shop. The more you spend, the more (and better) perks you get. Yep, it’s that easy and that good.
All you have to do is create an account online. The program is entirely free to join—there’s no minimum spending amount required. So go ahead, get in on those benefits.
The benefits of the program vary depending on your tier status, but all FOX FLEET members receive a birthday gift, discounted or free shipping, and access to exclusive product . The breakdown of perks according to tier status is in the chart below.
Your FOX FLEET status is determined by how much you spend each calendar year on shopBOXFOX.com (after promotional offers, before taxes and shipping charges are applied) when you provide or check out with the email address that is registered to your account. Please note that there is a 30-day delay in the spend calculation that places you in your tier status.
We don't currently accept returns. However, when and if we do, upon the return of an item, the spend amount applied to your tier status for the original purchase will be deducted from your account.
We absolutely cannot combine accounts at this time and urge you to use a single email address for all transactions on shopBOXFOX.com to ensure you receive credit toward FOX FLEET loyalty program tier status for every qualifying purchase made going forward. All FOX FLEET members will be invited to redeem a birthday surprise during the month of their birthday. Notification will be sent to you via email, so it is important that you are opted in to receive marketing emails from BOXFOX. Instructions on redemption will be provided in the email.
At program launch (July 2019), you will automatically be placed into the appropriate tier based on your qualifying purchases* made on shopBOXFOX.com within the previous year to date (2019). This loyalty tier status will remain in effect until February 1, 2020, when it will be reset based on your 2019 spend.

On the rare occasion that we are out of stock on a particular item, one of our gifting specialists will personally contact you with options of equal or greater value (and aesthetic).
Each BOXFOX includes a hand-written, custom-designed note. You simply provide us with your message and we'll handle the rest.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We only offer returns on items purchased through the Marketplace within 15 days of shipment of items. Products must be returned in their packaging and in stellar condition. All returns will be subjected to a $7 return fee, which will be deducted from your refund. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above mentioned standards.
We offer returns on items purchased through the Marketplace ONLY within 15 days of shipment of items. Product must be unused and in original packaging. Head to our “Start a Return” section of the website to initiate a label. Once your items are returned, simply place an order for your new item.
Per our policy, any BOXFOX gift box, custom built BOXFOX and the items curated in them are final sale and not eligible for returns, refunds or exchanges.
If you’re returning items from our Marketplace that meet our return policy standards. Your refund will be processed and applied to the original method of payment, minus our return fee of $7. Please note, refunds can take 7-10 business days to appear on your bank account.
