INBOUND INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Full-Time Salary Position at BOXFOX (40 hours per week)

The Role:

We are looking for an organized inventory specialist to support our company’s fulfillment operations. We need someone who will ensure accurate inventory levels by managing goods received as well as internal stock transfer transactions. This person will work closely with our B2C & B2B fulfillment teams to receive and organize inventory, set up workstations for our gift boxes, 

Responsibilities:

Coordinate product between B2C Fulfillment, B2B Production in collaboration with Operations and Sales teams  Organize, restock, and maintain inventory  Inspect products for defects and damages Develop, implement, and use tools and technology for managing and analyzing inventory Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards Examine, recommend and implement systems, controls, procedures and policies that improve inventory efficiencies  Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Keep warehouse clean and organized Abide by all company safety regulations

Requirements:

Well-organized, detail-oriented  Sound analytical and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel  Strong problem-solving skills  Able to work within a team environment as well as independently Ability to lift or move heavy products <25 lbs  Proven warehouse experience a plus but not required  Fluent in English

The Role

BOXFOX is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Fulfillment Associate positions at our headquarters in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. Fulfillment Associates are expected to understand aspects of productions; adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards. They are required to pick customer orders, sort, pack and ship customer orders, and troubleshoot problems to resolution. 

Job Description:

Pick and pack customer orders that come in each day by locating the items ordered in our BOXFOX warehouse, while ensuring each gift box is aesthetically pleasing and of high quality standards following company guidelines Match picked goods to sales checks Ship all parcels for delivery Write handwritten notes for the BOXFOX notecards that company each box and order Understand and utilize warehouse management software including but not limited to Shopify, Shipstation, and Quickbooks  Practice expert and personalized customer service, both preventative and reactionary, via phone or email, to ensure delivery of boxes and/or customer satisfaction Assist with the unpacking and restocking new inbound shipments and inventory Count items to maintain inventory The job requires careful attention to maintaining our inventory and overall warehouse organization Sustaining a clean and neat work environment is an essential function of the position Working with supervisors on the organization of the warehouse and various miscellaneous projects Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics/integrity

Job Requirements:

Must have excellent punctuality, attendance, and reliability.

Ability to stand for extended periods of times (7-8 hrs). 

Must be able to lift and/or move objects 10-30 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 40 lbs.

Must be capable of working quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to read and speak English.

Must have nice handwriting.

Great communication skills.

Must be a team player.
