They say LA doesn’t have seasons, but we beg to differ—there’s always Awards Season. We’re in the thick of it this year, having just breezed through the Emmys, People’s Choice, Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice, and SAG Awards. In honor of the ultimate awards show (hello, Academy Awards!) we wanted to take some time to honor some of our favorite entertainment work.
BBC // Dancing with the Stars
Focusing on relaxing and rejuvenating essentials, these thank you boxes given to the show’s talent from BBC were a hit! BBC wanted to highlight their network roots, so we made sure to include delicious toffee and English Breakfast tea! And what goes better with a mirror ball trophy than a pinch of glitter and dazzling custom box band? The dancers loved receiving the boxes and took a much deserved coconut bath soak to soak their sore muscles after the season ended!
SONY // The Good Doctor
Sony was looking to seed show mailers with members of the Hollywood Foreign Press and Critic’s Choice. Their outreach dovetailed nicely with the holidays so we worked with them on a custom box made for surviving the holidays in high spirits (and highly caffeinated).
STARZ // Outlander, Counterpart, and Howard’s End
STARZ wanted to send the Hollywood Foreign Press Association a box full of useful items representing their three hit shows Outlander, Counterpart and Howard’s End. Not only did the items inside their box perfectly correlate to their hit shows, but the box branding, insert, and cards hit their targeting messaging to a T.
POP TV // Schitt’s Creek
Throwing it back to one of our favorite curations and our binge watching guilty pleasure, we created a 5 star press mailer gift for PopTV’s hit show Schitt’s Creek. The boxes were sent to nighttime and daytime television bookers as a season 2 renewal announcement. The theme “Rose Apothecary” played off of the store’s infamous general store, and was a creative and effective way to generate media attention for the show!
