A love letter from our founders:
Five years ago, on November 7th, 2014, the three of us stayed up all night writing emails to everyone we had ever met and perfecting every last word, image, and bit of HTML code on the first iteration of shopBOXFOX.com. It was, as we like to say, “spaghetti at the wall.” And here we are: 5 years, 4 offices, 3 warehouses, 30+ employees later and it's better than we ever could have ever dreamed of. Our capabilities, offerings, and business savvy may have evolved for the better, but we're proud to say we still hold true the same beliefs and values that inspired us to go out on our own in the first place.
When we launched, we believed that business IS personal. We're happy to report that we still do. The very nature of our business is helping all of you maintain your personal and professional relationships with as much integrity and as much ease as we can provide. Behind the hard work our team does everyday is a HQ full of employees who care about each other as much as the business, and we’re so proud of that.
We have our greatest hits: our self-designed Build a BOXFOX platform; our corporate gifting arm, BOXFOX Concierge; and the FOX FLEET, which is our way of thanking you for believing in us. But, if you know us, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we're just getting started. 2020 will feature the Marketplace (what's that?), more sustainable packaging (ooooh!) and a parental leave policy that’s going to show how it's done (pretty monumental)! And we’re proud to say that we’ve beat the odds as a female-founded, self-funded company.
On this day, in true BOXFOX fashion, we just want to say thank you. Thank for your notes, your curations, and your feedback—they put smile on our faces even on the busiest days. And thank you for putting your trust in us, day in and day out, as we work hard to honor your most important relationships. We promise to never lose site of the one that’s most valuable: ours, with all of you.
